Tami is a long-term resident of Venice, where she lives with her life and business partner John Moos, and their blended family of 6 kids — a real modern-day Brady Bunch. TIMESTAMPS

(00:00) Tami’s childhood and return to real estate.

“My mom was a designer and my dad was a builder so I was raised on construction sites. I would clean them up, paint, and be the help. My mom was definitely somebody who made sure that we were working at a very young age. She believed in that. She was a farmer, and my dad was actually a farmer growing up so they had a very strong work ethic. So I was very familiar with how to build a house.” (04:28)

(07:18) How Pardee Properties started.

“About a year ago I told my staff, "We're gonna do a heart-shaped sign." My staff was like, "You are nuts." And I said, "I might be nuts, but we're going try it because nobody else has done it." Now we get so many calls on just that one sign [with people saying], "Thanks for thinking outta the box.” (12:30)

(13:28) The emotional connection homes create.

“I do feel that there's such an emotional connection with homes and there's so much love there that's been nurtured, brought in, or broken. It's all love. That's what homes are. They represent safety to people. They represent love. They represent so much about a person. It's not just financial. It's even more emotional than financial.” (13:37)

(24:08) Trendy and unique architecture.

“What happened was the developers without the architects came in and just decided to build the same house [on multiple properties] because the lots are the same size. It was a tragedy honestly because those developers were just doing that for the money. They weren't doing it for an architectural creative or really thinking about how people live. They were basically copying someone else's work and putting it. That was actually really unfortunate.” (27:38)

(32:50) The value of good real estate and the weaknesses of poor ones.

(39:46) About the company.

(58:03) How Tami works with clients.

“Whatever's best for my client is what we're going to do. I think if you take that approach, it's very impactful. That's how you get referrals. I think there are a lot of agents that'll push a deal because they want to get their commission on the other end. We call that commission breath. They'll say, "Oh, I'm gonna get this big commission." And I think to myself, "No. You're not doing what's right for the client." We also communicate daily to let everyone know exactly what's happening in real-time.” (01:02:38)

(01:14:25) What’s next for Tami, Life Change Warrior, living patterns.

(01:28:15) Favorite building and neighborhood.
